Dr. Ese Ben
Research Software Engineer
Biography
Ese is a researcher and software engineer at The Alan Turing Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, Ese completed a PhD in Computer Science at Loughborough University, where he investigated the development of intelligent systems endowed with capability to learn multiple tasks and rapidly adapt to change in task conditions. He is generally interested in the investigation and development of general purpose intelligent systems, and their applications in scientific (e.g., biology and health) and real-world problems. At The Alan Turing Institute, Ese currently: • Works on the research and application of reinforcement learning (RL) to air traffic control (ATC) • Supports the Research Computing Platform group.
