Biography

Alvaro Sierra Castro graduated with a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton in 2023, where he specialised in air vehicle systems and aircraft design, while learning to develop software during his free time. After his studies, Alvaro joined R&D in NATS where he mainly contributes to the integration of new airspace users and the development of Project Bluebird's digital twin. His work is driven by Alvaro's passion of the use of software to increase the efficiency of the aviation industry.
